Felicitation Programme Honours Dedicated Service of EMRC Staff
A heartfelt felicitation programme was organized by EMRC, University of Mysore, on 14th July 2025 to honour the invaluable contributions of its long-serving staff members. The event celebrated the service of Mr. Thippeswamy, Cameraman; Mr. Syed Kaleem, Senior Producer and former Director (in-charge) of EMRC; and paid tribute to the family member of Late Mr. J.K. Siddeswara, who served the centre as a Production Assistant.
Welcoming the guests, Prof. Sapna M.S., Director of EMRC, emphasized that “an institution thrives on the dedication and integrity of its people.” She noted that the longevity and success of any institution rests on the sincere efforts of those who have served it selflessly. She also highlighted the importance of acknowledging and expressing gratitude to individuals who have contributed significantly to the growth and reputation of EMRC.
During the event, Mr. Thippeswamy and Mr. Kaleem fondly shared their experiences, reflecting on their journey and the challenges they overcame in their respective roles. Both expressed their heartfelt thanks to Prof. Sapna for taking the initiative to recognize retired staff and for the proactive steps she has taken to ensure their welfare.
The event served as a moment of reflection, gratitude, and inspiration—underscoring the value of service, memory, and community within the institutional fabric of EMRC.
