EMRC Mysore observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)

EMRC Mysore observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration and the first Deputy Prime Minister of independent India. The occasion highlighted Patel’s extraordinary role in unifying more than 560 princely states, thereby laying the foundation for a strong and cohesive nation.

As part of the observance, the staff gathered in the Director’s Chamber to pay tribute to Sardar Patel’s legacy and reaffirm their commitment to national unity. Mr. Lokesh recited the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Oath and the rest of the staff affirmed with repeating the lines.

“I solemnly pledge that I dedicate myself to preserving the unity, integrity, and security of the nation,

and also strive to spread this message among my fellow countrymen.

I take this pledge in the spirit of unification of my country,

which was made possible by the vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

I also solemnly resolve to make my contribution to ensure the internal security of my country.”
